Introduction
The AL600C-EVB-A0 is an evaluation board used
to demonstrate the highly integrated AL600 video
processor IC. It supports dual-port input with
multiple
graphics/video format capabilities. It can also
output the video with scaling, overlaying and
alpha blending effects etc. It can be used for
most video conversion and processing
applications.
The AL600 is equipped with a high quality scaling
engine that automatically maintains full screen
output display, regardless of the resolution
of the incoming signals.
Employing AverLogic’s proprietary scaling
algorithm, the primary input
video can be scaled up and scaled down independently
in horizontal & vertical directions. It
also provides film mode detection, advanced
Motion Adaptive de-interlacing, filtering, and
scaling which can convert and process the frames
into interlaced video to be displayed on progressive
outputs.
